1. Korean (hand) acupuncture. The Hand, beginning with the middle finger (palm side) is a mirror image of the body. Top of the finger is the head; descending down into the palm is the digestive system.

2. Treatment with small needles or pressure points is very effective for relief of pain from headaches and digestive disturbances as irritable bowel disorder.

3. Auricular (ear) acupuncture begins at the ear lobe (head) and moves along the outer ear (spinal cord) finishing at the feet. Acupuncture points are designated along the meridians of the inverted fetus (head) as described above.
